been inspired

hello everyone. my apologies for not posting in a bit but wanted to share some of my crafty creations...

Was inspired by hitting brick walls, and how sometimes you just have to tear down your walls and let the good flow freely within. In my life I have tried to fit square pegs in round holes and always was met with resistance. Until recently I met the perfect combination of everything I need in life.

 Anda apparently I never showed you guys my happy little easter carrots, made from paper but this bunny doesnt seem to mind too much.

 some embossed paper teamed up with some heat embossed images, loved this color combination. the lighting really does not pick up the pop of color and glitter sheen on the self adhesive paper ribbon I made with a old school fiskars ruler punch

Bright and cheery birthday card made from some scraps and alpha sticky letters

And a beautiful earth tone card some distressing, stamping, tissue tape, and scrollwork.

For the Birds

Trying to find lots of things to do around the house and occupy my time. So I had these old springs laying around.

Thought that I would make some cute floral arrangement or something I saw on Pinterest with them. Instead I made some Suet and a birdfeeder

A little something to brighten our day

Today I wanted to make something with bright colors and to add cheer to some special people's day. I used an older Stampin up set (two step stampin Tulips) some Stampin up Inks as well as distress inks. Because we can't go out to our neighborhood craft store I am lucky enough to have plenty of supplies and paperstock to keep me going for a while.These cards will be mailed off in the morning. TFL

Hippity hoppity

Well, this year Easter will be a little less about joining together with family and friends. Im missing being at both my jobs.. my crafty one with Board and Brush most of all. So I took one of the signs I created a year ago and gave it a little makeover. Hop you like!

Welcome back Again lol
With this Pandemic of COVID-19 keeping us all at home and safe, I find myself with more time to get things up and running again. Hope you enjoy what I have on my blog, and will hopefully continue to grow and blossom as a artist and creater. This pot that my lil' friend here is in was made at a class in one of my favorite local shops. We took boring terra cotta pots and painted them with chalk paint, made some paper clay embellishments and created this faux cement planter. I love it and I hope you do too...

I received the Tim holts village dwelling dies and I'm finally getting around to playing with it. This is still in the works but here is the work in progress...

all it takes is a little time

So yesterday while trying to tidy up a few areas of my house, I decided to sit down and make a quick card. I had some misc pieces of a breast cancer card kit I bought from a destash group and I went at it. quick easy and to the point. I have promised myself that I will try to do this every day. whether its a quick card or a home decor piece I will sit down at my craft able. TFL

Celebrate!

So , So Far this year I have been sick as a dog.. this Virus that has everyone beat, My youngest son was in Hospital in Virginia flu/diabetes complications and my oldest son was in a hit and run car accident. All of these things have reminded us to celebrate Life. All to quick it can come to a screeching halt. TGIF! I will get through working a double today and bring on the weekend!

Welcome Back

January 2019 and It has been one rough start. But I will not let things stop me from getting in my way of starting back up with my blog and getting in my craft space again and creating. Just need to get into a routine.

Autumn Blessings

Well alot has happened since my last post...I have arrived..Finally have myself a home in a shop.. Live Flea or Buy , The owner Bryan gave me an opportunity to finally make my dreams into reality. Exciting News

So I have been offered a spot at one of the shops here in town that showcase local crafters and antique dealers.... so happy, Finally some where to house my goodies other than the Rubbermaid bins in my living room..and hey they will get seen and maybe even make me some Money..Perfect timing now that my son is enrolled in school... So this week I'm making some fall and Halloween goodies...here is a peek so far...

Color Challenge

So... One thing I have always had trouble with is  the starting point.. where to begin with my projects..whether it be cards, pages or mixed media... so when I saw this color challenge over at MFT Stamps I thought..great ..takes the guess work out of it!!! and this picture was perfect for it.. has all the colors in the challenge almost lol..thanks for looking!

Things with wings ..take two

So before I could begin working on more projects I decided to clean my studio and organize my paper scraps...what do I find... lol some Bo Bunny papers..so I made another card for the SSSWChallenge Things with wings ..and used Bo Bunny Futbol Stripe paper...Hope you like

Here are a few cards I created this week.. really getting back into the swing of things.. First one is for  the Crafty Challenge Chicks group on FB.. Challenge was to use Two Die cuts (tag and circle in sun) red and yellow and Ribbon or twine (polka dots) and the them was Sunshine makes me Happy... which yes it does!

is for Simon Says Stamps the theme of this one was Things with wings.. and to use Doodlebug designs products if you have them....alot of my stash is not in original packaging so I'm just not sure but... I had fun making this card...
